Η Gemini Τeam στέλνει άκλαυτους κλώνους Dreambox

Αν έχετε Dreambox 500s κλώνο, φοράτε επάνω το τελευταίο Gemini 4.30.1, και δεν σας εμφανίσθηκε ακόμα το message "warning clone box detected system stop contact your dealer adios amigo" με το Dreambox σας να μην ανοίγει ποτέ ξανά... τότε είστε τυχεροί και πρέπει ΟΠΩΣΔΗΠΟΤΕ να ακολουθηστε τις οδηγιες που θα βρείτε σε αυτό το post..

Βλέπετε η Gemini team στο τελευταίο update του blue panel 4.30.1 πέρασε ένα driver update που το έδωσε προφανώς η Dream multimedia και όλοι οι κλώνοι crash-άρισαν.

Το μηχάνημα δεν έχει ψηθεί απλά θέλει reprogramming η flash που σημαίνει ότι το έκαναν απλά και μόνο για το θεαθήναι.

H ομάδα του Gemini project από την έκδοση 4.30 άρχισε τα κόλπα δρώντας σαν θυγατρική της Dreambox κλειδώνοντας το blue panel (mac adress locking) σε όλες τις "μαϊμούδες "για να προστατέψει όπως έλεγε την κοινότητα !!

Παρόλα αυτά όποιος έχει ακόμα "μαϊμουδένιο" Dreambox με την εκδοση 4.30.1 ας βάλει όσο πιο γρήγορα μπορεί το fix που παραθέτω πιο κάτω (το οποίο είχε βγει για την προηγούμενη εκδοσή αλλά παίζει μια χαρά και σε αυτήν) όπου μέσω ftp μεταφέρετε μέσα στο var/etc ένα init file αλλάζοντας έτσι την mac address και κάνοντας την να δείχνει ως αυτή ενός γνήσιου Dreambox !

Θα πρέπει οπωσδήποτε να ξεκινάει η mac address από 00:09:34 και θα πρέπει να αλλάξετε τις 3 τελευταίες στήλες με αριθμούς και γράμματα όπως παρακάτω

Αριθμοί απο 0 εως 9 και γραμματα απο Α εως F

πχ. 00:09:34:0A:9F:CB

Καλό είναι να μην βάλετε όλοι την ίδια mac address του fix για αυτό θα πρέπει να την αλλάξετε ανοίγοντας την με το notepad όπως παρακάτω :

Τώρα για όσους έχουν ήδη το πρόβλημα ... βγήκαν σε Forum του εξωτερικού κάποια fixes τα οποία όμως είναι ατεστάριστα ακόμα όπου και γίνεται επαναπρογραμματισμός του bootloader μεσω Jtag ... για περισσότερα μπορείτε να δείτε εδώ ....
